      Rod Giles | Managing Director and Founder

      Rod founded Contract Warehousing in 1978 when he predicted that Closer Economic Relations meant more Australian companies would take advantage of the opportunity to enter the New Zealand market if only the cost of entry was minimised. This now extending to companies from around the world.

      Rod’s own career began with farming and finished as head shepherd at the age of 20 on a 16,000 acre sheep and cattle station. He then went and worked for a national automotive parts company where he commenced at the bottom and worked he way through the company for a number of years ending up as area manager in Wellington before going to Australia for a period and working for a National company in Sydney in a similar industry before returning to NZ, married with a family on the way. From here he got involved in the transport industry which resulted in his setting up his own company in the freight industry. It was at this time that he also commenced developing the idea of CONTRACT WAREHOUSING.

      We obtain enquiries from throughout the world from prospective clients that understand their own lack of desire to be physically involved but are unsure or do not know or do not understand all the possible options. In a number of cases they are vaguely aware of the 3rd party concept but do not know anything further.

      In order to provide information as may be required to meet the enquiry we need some basic information to be provided by yourselves detailing your product and intended desired result.

      We will respond , possibly by first phoning to clarify the requirement and then follow up with a detailed proposal, This will provide explanations of services and  possible solutions along with various different options and costing’s. This will allow you to consider just what may suit your individual requirements.
